As part of the Mey Diageo Track & Trace Renovation project, a rock-solid, user-friendly and flexible traceability system installation was completed. The project, which aimed to ensure parcel and pallet traceability, involved scanning the barcodes of boxes produced on the line using SICK brand barcode readers to match the barcodes of the pallets. The application is bi-directionally integrated with SAP and can operate offline in situations where SAP access is limited, such as during network outages, to ensure production continuity.
